Four people were taken to hospital Thursday night with unknown injuries when a fire broke out at a central Edmonton seniors home.
Fire crews were called to the high-rise building in the area of 105 Avenue and 90 Street at around 11:10 p.m.
Several residents were forced out of the building as upwards of 40 firefighters worked to douse the blaze.
The fire was out by 2:14 a.m. Friday and the majority of residents have since returned home.
Two suites were damaged in the fire. The cause is under investigation.
