A 14-year-old driver is the cause of a crash that occurred in Abbotsford on Mission Highway and Clayburn Road Wednesday morning.
Abbotsford Police say the young unlicensed driver took the vehicle from the house he was visiting and crashed it around 7 a.m. Wednesday.
There were no injuries reported, but police have apprehended the driver for investigation.
This comes just two months after a 16-year-old unlicensed driver crashed a Porsche into a garage while trying to park in Vancouver. The incident was caught on camera and led police to connect the driver with a previous hit-and-run.
That driver is now facing multiple charges under the Motor Vehicle Act, including a hit-and-run and driving without a license.
An earlier incident this spring also included a young driver who was caught speeding at 147 km/h in an 80 km/h zone in Mission. The driver, who only had an “L” license, had his vehicle impounded.
