RCMP are investigating a serious crash between a car and a motorcycle that sent two people to hospital Friday.
Mounties said officers were called to the scene on Highway 93 near Waterfowl Lake at about 3:30 p.m.
Police said they believe a northbound motorcycle collided with a car while both were trying to pass another vehicle.

They added that the 35-year-old British Columbia man who was driving the motorcycle was sent to hospital with minor injuries. His passenger, a 40-year-old woman from B.C., was airlifted to hospital by STARS with serious injuries. The 37-year-old driver of the car was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
RCMP said they are continuing to investigate what contributing factors may have led to the crash.
Waterfowl Lake is about a 45-minute drive northwest of Lake Louise.
