RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects allegedly involved a break and enter into a home in Surrey in April.
On April 20, a male and female suspect went to a home in the 10000-block of 127A Street in Surrey at about 11:30 a.m. According to police, the female suspect then knocked and when the occupants of the home came to the door, the male suspect forced his way in and threatened them with a weapon.
The pair then fled in a silver Volkswagen Beetle after robbing the occupants. No one was injured in the incident.
Police have released the surveillance video footage with the hopes of identifying the two suspects.
The male suspect is described by police as dark-skinned, 30 to 40 years of age with a thin build and short, black receding hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt with a white pattern or writing, grey denim jeans, and grayish deck-style shoes. The male spoke Fiji Hindi.
The female suspect is described as a fair-skinned Caucasian, 25-35 years old with a medium build and shoulder length brown, curly/frizzy hair. She was seen wearing a grey tank top, jeans with a large hole torn in the left knee and pointed flaps covering the back pockets, and distinctive off-white and tan-coloured boots with 1/2 inch raised heels.
The Volkswagen the pair fled in is a 1998-2005 silver Volkswagen Beetle with six-spoke wheels.
Police are asking if anyone knows either of the suspects to contact Surrey RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
