Sunny start to the weekend before clouds and rain move in to start Saskatoon Exhibition week.

Saskatoon Forecast

Today

A few fog patches started the day in Saskatoon as we dipped back to 8 degrees.

Clear skies and sunshine quickly warmed us up into the low 20s by 11 a.m. with a mix of sun and cloud by the noon hour.

Partly cloudy skies are expected to stick around through the rest of the day as temperatures rise up into the mid-20s.

Tonight

The evening will start off with a few clouds as the mercury drops back into the high teens before skies clear again overnight as we fall back to around 10 degrees.

Saturday

It’ll be a sunny start to the weekend tomorrow as temperatures climb through the day up to around 26 degrees.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

Humidity in the air will make it feel a few degrees warmer, but a high UV index means you’ll want to slap on the sunscreen if you’re planning to be outside for any length of time during the day.

Sunday

Clouds look like they’ll make a return for Sunday with a push of Pacific moisture aloft.

Despite the partly to mostly cloudy skies, we’re still expecting to top out around 26 degrees or so in the afternoon.

Work Week Outlook

A rainy start to the work week and kickoff to the Saskatoon Exhibition is shaping up as a low pressure system swings through Monday into Tuesday.

We may get a break from the rain mid-week with some sunny breaks before another system looks as though it’ll be sliding through late in the week bringing back the risk of a few showers.

So overall, despite the wetter start to the week, it won’t be a washout.

The late week rain at this point appears as though it’ll be more scattered showers, so as long as you have the umbrella handy, you should be good to keep your outdoor plans.

At this point, daytime highs look like they’ll be pretty steady through the week in the low-to-mid 20s – so not unreasonably cold, but also not unreasonably warm either…just a bit wet at times, especially early in the week.
