Man’s body found on train tracks in Leduc, Alta.

Mounties say a deceased man “with injuries consistent with a train versus pedestrian collision” was found near a highway in Leduc, Alta. Monday morning.

RCMP were called by a person who found human remains near Highway 2A and 50 Street.

Leduc Fire Services and the Canadian Pacific Police Service are also investigating the death.

Leduc RCMP believe the collision happened sometime after 10 p.m. on Sunday.

The identity of the man has not been released.
