A traditional annual high-diving competition took place in Kosovo on Sunday, on the 60th anniversary of the event.

The event drew hundreds of spectators, who sat along the banks of the Drini I Bardhe, or White Drin, river to watch 22 divers compete for the first prize.

Each diver jumped from the Fshajt Bridge into the river, around 22 metres (72 feet) above the water.

This year, first prize was divided by two competitors – Ludvig Prenqi and Sali Riza Gernqina.

I have participated in the competition since 2003, but have always come in fourth, fifth or sixth, but this year I was prepared and I made it to first,” said Prenqi.
