Environment Canada issued tornado warnings in east-central Saskatchewan on Sunday.

The federal agency said this is a dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation. The threat of tornadoes is expected to shift into southwest Manitoba later Sunday evening.

If threatening weather approaches, take shelter in a strong building immediately. Go indoors to a room on the lowest floor, away from outside walls and windows, such as a basement.
