RCMP were responding to a tip about a stolen truck Thursday afternoon when they tracked the vehicle down to an alley in Blackfalds.
The black Dodge Ram crashed into three RCMP vehicles trying to flee the scene.

The driver then tried to flee on foot but was caught by one of the officers.
One officer sustained minor injuries. He was treated at the hospital and released.
Bryan Lawrence Moffitt, 19, now faces 10 charges including assaulting a police officer.
He’s scheduled to appear in Red Deer Provincial Court on August 2.
RCMP are asking anyone who may have witnessed what happened to call Blackfalds RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
