Hot and unsettled start to the long weekend before the weather pattern starts to change.
Saskatoon Forecast
Today
It was another foggy start to the day if you were up really early around 5 a.m. when temperatures dipped back to 11 degrees.
The fog quickly cleared by the next hour as mostly sunny skies moved in for the morning and the mercury rose into the low 20s by 9 a.m.
By noon a few more clouds built in with temperatures sitting in the mid-20s, feeling like 27 with humidity.
A few more degrees should be gained through the day with a mix of sun and cloud expected through the afternoon.
Tonight
Clouds will roll back in overnight with a good chance of thundershowers moving in through the early morning hours as temperatures drop back into the mid-teens overnight.
Friday
Tomorrow will start off with a good chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning, some clearing midday with an afternoon chance of showers and thunderstorms once again.

Long Weekend
Saturday looks like it’ll start with some sunshine before clouds roll in with a good chance of thunderstorms later in the day as a low pressure system moves in.
That system looks like it may linger into Sunday bringing a chance of thunderstorms once again – but it won’t be a washout of a weekend.
It looks like we’ll see some sunshine on Sunday as well with daytime highs in the high 20s both Saturday and Sunday.
As for Monday, a cold front will swing through and likely kick up wind gusts to sustained speeds in the 30 to 40 km/h range with gusts upwards of 50 km/h or so possible under a mix of sun and cloud with a lesser chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Temperatures that day will be cooler with an afternoon high expected in the mid-20s.
Work Week Outlook
Next week is shaping up to be a bit cooler with highs back into the low- to mid-20s under a mix of sun and cloud with a chance of thunderstorms at times.
