A Michigan man who said he had made multiple complaints about his neighbour’s treatment of dogs decided to record the events as proof and post it online.
James Jennings of Otisville, Mich. told NBC affiliate WDIV News he complained to police more than 13 times within four years about the alleged ongoing animal cruelty he’s witnessed in his neighbour’s backyard.
That’s when Jennings said he decided to take matters into his own hands and recorded a vicious dog-on-dog attack.
“It’s probably the most gruesome of the ongoings with the dogs over there, but it’s not the first time,” Jennings told WDIV.

In the video – blurred because of its graphic content – three pit bulls are allegedly attacking one pit bull while people stand around looking on.
WDIV reported the dog survived.
Jennings is said to have posted the video to the city’s Facebook page but immediately received threats.
He said he even received a written note that read in part: “…You will learn to mind your own business.”
“A fella can’t come home and work in his garage without having to carry a gun for fear that he might get mauled in his front yard? It’s ridiculous,” Jennings told WDIV.
However, a neighbour of Jennings claimed he’s the one to blame for the dog fights.
“I have witnessed James banging on the fence, riling the dogs up. And with him being ‘Johnny-on-the-spot’ with the video, it would not surprise me whatsoever if he was the one that got the dogs going somewhere,” the neighbour said to WDIV.
According to the news station, police have handed the case to animal control who are investigating the situation.
