The fire broke out in a walkway between the Sunplex and a neighbouring business where vagrants sometimes gather.

A Sunplex spokesperson says a man, with his hat pulled low and a bandana over his face, was seen entering the walkway and then running away.

The blaze was extinguished within minutes of the arrival of fire crews with minimal damage.

Arson is suspected and RCMP are investigating.
