The driver of an SUV was killed Wednesday when his vehicle ran him over north of Edmonton, police said Friday.
At approximately 5:45 p.m., the driver had been reversing his vehicle on Range Road 263 near Township 592 in Westlock County. RCMP said he lost control and the SUV rolled into the ditch. The driver was partially ejected, and the SUV rolled over him.

Three other passengers were not hurt.
The 40-year-old driver’s family has been notified. His name will not be released by RCMP.
