Clean-up crews might want to bring some vegetables and bread after a tractor-trailer crash spilled salad dressing and mayonnaise over a busy Highway 401 on-ramp.
Huge containers of the liquids tipped sideways and lost their tops in the rollover crash, leaving pools of the off-white and green condiments on the road.
The incident happened when the truck rolled while making a turn on the northbound on-ramp leading from the Don Valley Parkway to Highway 401 westbound around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said the driver is OK but was taken to hospital as a precaution.
“It’s still spilling out of there,” he said in a Periscope broadcast as he surveyed the scene.
He later said the driver has been charged with careless driving.
Schmidt said the road should be re-opened around 8 p.m.
