The war between Taylor Swift and Kanye West just got a little more heated – thanks to Kim Kardashian.
In a move that seems to have broken the internet, the reality TV star took to Snapchat on Sunday to post a video of a phone call that happened between the 39-year-old rapper (a.k.a. her husband) and the pop star about his song Famous.
The tune, which was released in February, referenced Swift in one lyric: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, Why? I made that bitch famous.”
What’s the big deal you might ask? Well, when the hit was first released, the 26-year-old pop princess claimed she was angry over the one-liner saying West never called her about the song.

Kardashian’s Snapchat seems to refute that story.
In the clip, a smiling West tells Swift he’s working on a song and wants to use the lyric: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex.”
In response, Swift is heard saying she worries about overexposure, but West says the lyric would be good exposure. In the end, she appears to give her blessing.
“It’s like a compliment,” she says. “I really appreciate you telling me about it, that’s really nice.”
“I just had a responsibility to you as a friend. Thanks for being so cool about it,” he responds.
Swift can also be heard saying it’s a tongue-in-cheek line anyway, and that she would let people know she knew about it in advance. She also says, “I’m always going to respect you.”
So did Swift lie? Possibly, but it’s not something the Bad Blood singer has admitted to doing. Instead, she let her anger over the release of the video be known on Instagram.
“Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that b****’ in his song?” she wrote in a statement. “It doesn’t exist because it never happened. You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that b****’ in front of the entire world.”
She then attacked the Keeping Up With the Kardashians duo for “character assassination.”
Social media quickly hopped into the fray with many using the hashtag #KimExposedTaylorParty to express their delight that Swift was being “brought down.” (It should be noted that many feel the blond bombshell is facing the exact thing she once feared – overexposure.)
Even celebrities joined the conversation and picked a side.
Khloe Kardashian praised her sister on Twitter, calling her “a savage.”
Kourtney Kardashian praised Khloe for defending Kim.
Swift’s sort-of-friend Selena Gomez rhetorically asked in a tweet why people can’t use their voice for something that matters before adding, “Truth is last thing we need right now is hate, in any form.”
While Demi Lovato hopped on the West bandwagon by liking a tweet that said, “I love Kim Kardashian.”
Katy Perry, Swift’s so-called nemesis, made a comment.
And Chloë Grace Moretz seemed angry with everyone.
The whole thing happened on the heels of an epic Twitter meltdown from Calvin Harris about his ex-girlfriend, in which he claimed she was trying to destroy him.
The catalyst: it was revealed that Rihanna’s smash-hit This Is What You Came For, done in collaboration with Harris, was, in fact, partially written by Swift, who used a Swedish alias in the credits so she could remain anonymous. (Harris later noted that Swift sang in the song, too, while making clear that he wrote the music, produced and arranged it.)
Harris weirdly changed his tone midway through the series of tweets, switching gears and accusing Swift of hurting him and trying to make him look bad.
He even referenced Swift’s new boyfriend, actor Tom Hiddleston.

This is the latest chapter in a long feud between Swift and the Kardashians that now dates back seven years, when West took the stage as a then 19-year-old Swift beat Beyoncé for an MTV Video Music Award. West came onstage as Swift was accepting her award and said, “Yo Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’mma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time!”
