GRANBY, QUE. – At least ten people were injured in Granby Friday evening after several storms broke out over the region.

Residents had gathered for a celebration in Miner Park and some 20 people were huddled under a marquee when a tree crashed down on it.

Although several people were hurt, there were no reports of major injuries.

An investigation has been launched to determine whether or not a small tornado may have touched town in Granby, leading to the incident.
