CALGARY – The man accused of killing a 41-year-old father in a bar fight in Cedarbrae has been released on bail.
Scott Hooser is charged with manslaughter in connection to the death of Brian Ludwig.
Police say the men were involved in an argument over the Toronto Blue Jays at a southwest pub, when Hooser allegedly punched Ludwig in the head, sending him falling to the ground.
Ludwig later died in hospital.
Hooser appeared in court on Tuesday, where he was released on $3,000 bail.
The conditions of his release include abstaining from alcohol, and staying away from bars or businesses where the primary business is serving alcohol.
