Six passengers and a pilot are OK after a hot air balloon they were riding in crash landed in a field Thursday morning.
The balloon, operated by Sundance Balloons, hit a tree and then got stuck on a light standard in the athletic field at Brookswood Secondary.
“It was a nice flight but a bad landing,” said one passenger, adding that everyone was alright and that it was a “fun day.”
Bill Yearwood with the Transportation Safety Board says they are aware of the incident and it has been recorded but it will not warrant a full investigation.
