A trial will be held for Norman Lavoie, the Winnipeg truck driver charged in a construction zone crash last year in Saskatchewan that killed three Carrot River teens and seriously injured a flag person.
Justin Gaja, 14, Kristian Skalicky, 15, and Carter Stevenson, 17, were killed when they were struck from behind by a semi on May 3, 2015 while stopped in the Highway 6 construction zone south of Spalding.

They were on their way home after attending a football camp.
The force of the crash sent the car into a truck, which then collided with a flag person.
Sam Fetherson was critically injured and is still recovering.

Lavoie, 39, faces three charges of criminal negligence causing death and one charge of criminal negligence causing bodily harm.
No date has been set for the trial, which will be held in Melfort.
