Thirty restaurants, including five new vendors, are scheduled to serve up dishes ranging from entrées to desserts.

However, with a rainfall warning in effect Tuesday, attendance is expected to be down on the first day, according to show manager Scott Ford.

“We’re really optimistic that starting Wednesday, right through to Sunday, we’re going to have great weather and great crowds,” Ford said.

Fifty-six bands were scheduled to perform at the festival, but two groups travelling from the Regina area were told to stay home Tuesday.

“We always have some filler bands that are local too, so we’ll shuffle them into the program, but [Tuesday] will be the only day affected,” Ford said.

The full lineup is posted here.
