Man killed in northwest Edmonton quad crash

The Edmonton Police Service is investigating a fatal quad accident in the city’s northwest.

Edmonton police received a call Friday morning from a person who found a man dead in the area of 184 Street and 137 Avenue.

Police believe the man was operating a quad in a closed section of 184 Street when he collided with a concrete barrier.

The man’s identity has not been released.

Officers do not believe alcohol was a factor in the collision.
