RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an attempted theft at the Walmart in Airdrie.

On June 5, 2016, the RCMP were called in connection with an attempted theft at the Walmart.

Store staff said they saw a woman taking several items, but when confronted, she dropped the items and fled in a stolen vehicle. The suspect was caught on surveillance and the RCMP are looking to the public for help to identify the woman.

She is described as Caucasian and in her 20s. She has a heavier build, long brown hair and a cheek piercing.
