Neighbours told Global News the fire may have been sparked by a hot tub motor and nearby residents used garden hoses until crews arrived. Unfortunately for the owner, little could be done as the flames quickly devoured the roof and the home is likely a total loss.
No one was injured in the blaze. Crews have been on the scene throughout the night putting out hot spots.
