MONTREAL – A woman is in critical condition following a violent single-vehicle crash Friday evening on Higway 15 South in Sainte-Adèle.
Provincial police were called to the scene shortly after 11 p.m.
According to police, the car rolled several times before landing upside down on the grassy median, after the driver lost control of his vehicle.
The 51-year-old male driver and his 37-year-old female passenger were rushed to hospital.
Police fear for the woman’s life.
The driver’s life is not in danger and officers have requested a blood sample.
Highway 15 was partially closed in both directions for several hours as collision experts investigated.
