LONGUEUIL, Que. – A toddler is in critical condition after being found unconscious in a residential swimming pool in Longueuil, Que.
The incident involving the one-and a half year old child occurred just before 9 p.m. Thursday in the community just south of Montreal.

A family member found the unconscious toddler, who had to be resuscitated prior to being taken to hospital.
Police were investigating to determine how the child ended up in the pool.
