Five people were taken to hospital following a three-vehicle crash in Saskatoon.

The collision at the intersection of Circle Drive and Laurier Drive happened Wednesday at around 12: 45 a.m. CT.

Firefighters had to use hydraulic tools to remove two people out of the mangled vehicles.
Three men and two women were taken to hospital with unknown injuries. There is no word on their current condition.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
