Regina police make arrests in string of firearms offences in North Central

Police have made a number of arrests in connection with several firearm incidents over the past two days.

According to police, the firearms believed to be related to the shootings have been seized.

On Friday, police responded to a report of a male in possession of a firearm in the 1000 block of Robinson Street.

Five hours later, they responded to another similar call, this time in the 1400 block of Robinson Street.

Then at around noon on Saturday, police responded to a report of males in a vehicle pointing a firearm. The incident occurred in the 1300 block of Robinson Street.

Later, at around 4 p.m. in the 2900 block of 8th Avenue, there were reports of a firearm discharged.

According to police, a window in the 1300 block of Athol Street was shot out.

No one was injured relating to these events and the matter is currently under investigation.
