Police called to Dartmouth apartment following weapons complaint

There was a large police presence in north-end Dartmouth on Sunday afternoon.

At around noon, officers with Halifax Regional Police were called to an apartment complex on Elmwood Avenue for a weapons complaint.

Officers allege that a man pointed a hand gun at another man in the area. No one was injured in the incident.

More than a dozen police vehicles were on scene for some time investigating.

A 24-year-old man was taken into custody and removed from the scene. So far no charges have been laid.
