Police arrested and charged a male youth Wednesday in connection with a series of sexual assaults in northeast Edmonton.
Five separate sexual assaults were reported to police between Tuesday, May 24 and Wednesday, June 22, all in the Eaux Claires neighbourhood.
Police said the assaults happened during the day on a walking path south of 164 Avenue, between 84 and 95 streets on May 24, May 31, June 10, June 14 and June 22.

Each time, a young male – under the age of 18 – allegedly approached a woman, grabbing them over their clothes.
In one case, it was reported he kissed the woman on the lips. Another woman reported she was aggressively pushed to the ground.
The youth who was charged cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Police are asking any witnesses or other potential victims to come forward.
