A Regina woman was taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries after her motorcycle collided with a minivan early Sunday morning at around 10 a.m.
Police say the driver of the van was travelling eastbound on Dewdney Avenue and attempted to make a U-turn from the far right lane.
The 29-year-old driver was also headed in that direction and unable to avoid the collision, crashed into the side of the van at the intersection of Dewdney Avenue and Arthur Street.
The driver of the white minivan was a 90-year-old male, who said he didn’t see the woman coming.
“I feel really bad and hope she’s OK,” he said.
Police are charging the male with driving without due care and attention.
The driver told Global News he will probably give up driving after this.
