KELOWNA–Members of the Kelowna Yacht Club are helping support Variety The Children’s Charity and local kids with special needs.
On Saturday, local skippers will be ferrying kids from the downtown marina to treasure boats set up on Okanagan Lake, while marauding pirates looking to steal the booty try to foil their efforts.
The fun continues at “Treasure Island” in Kerry Park.
The event is also a fundraiser for Variety, which has raised over $1.2 million since it began.
