Fire crews in Airdrie rushed to a trio of structure fires on Friday night.
Firefighters arrived at Woodside Boulevard and Veterans Boulevard at around 6:45 p.m.
The City of Airdrie said two houses were destroyed while a third was severely damaged. Several others sustained heat and smoke damage.

Cst. Megan Fillion said houses in front and behind Woodside Boulevard were evacuated. No one will be allowed back in for at least 24 hours.
There is no cause yet for the blazes and Fillion said RCMP will be investigating the multiple fires.
Fire victims have been asked to register at Genesis Place.
The city said gas and power has been shut off to the houses.
Woodside Boulevard, Veterans Boulevard and the Reunion area have been closed to traffic.
