RCMP are on the lookout for a man who allegedly fled an armed robbery in a vehicle with Saskatchewan licence plates on Tuesday. At around 4:30 p.m. CT, officers were called to the Wheatfield Inn Bar in Kitscoty, Alta.

A male had reportedly entered the bar through the back door and sat briefly at a VLT terminal before going to the till. When he asked the bartender for change, the bartender opened the cash drawer and that’s when police allege the suspect produced a can of bear spray and demanded money.

A struggle ensued and the bartender was sprayed in the face.
