WATCH: New video game trailers released during E3 2016

Every Electronic Entertainment Expo we’re treated to a taste of what’s next in video games, and here are a few trailers to satisfy your appetite until their release.

Quake Champions
After the success of Bethesda’s reboot of the Doom franchise, they’ve decided to bring back another classic first-person shooter video game, Quake. As with the original Quake series, the focus of the game will be on competitive multiplayer action.

Star Trek: Bridge Crew
Virtual reality has been closely compared to experiencing what it’d be like to be on a holodeck, and the Star Trek franchise is taking full advantage of our nerdiest fantasies of what we’d do if we had one: captain our own federation starship. Ubisoft is giving you that chance with Star Trek: Bridge Crew which will allow you and several friends to interact and man iconic crew positions – from helm to tactical to engineering – all in a virtual reality, 360-degree space.

Mass Effect: Andromeda
Bioware’s Mass Effect has been one of the most pinnacle role-playing videogames in the last several years with an aesthetic inspired by 1980s science fiction films and a rich character development spanning three sequels. After fan backlash on how the original series ended, Mass Effect: Andromeda is starting anew as you’ll be exploring the frontier in the Andromeda galaxy 2.5 million light years from Earth, giving the story a more western feel than a political space opera.

Battlefield 1
Probably one of the most deceptive portrayals of World War One, EA’s Battlefield 1 trailer mostly ignores the years of grueling trench war and goes straight into action-movie mode. However, that’s not to say it doesn’t look like it’ll be fun to play. The game will feature up to 64-player multiplayer online matches on epic-sized maps and the ability to fly a fully armed zeppelin.
