RCMP looking for Okanagan toilet thief

LAKE COUNTRY – RCMP say they want to flush out a toilet thief.

Overnight Wednesday, a home under construction in Lake Country was broken into and two American Standard toilets were stolen.

One of them had already been installed.

There have been several recent incidents in the community where homes under construction were burglarized with appliances and tools stolen.

“The RCMP would once again like to remind Lake Country residents to be vigilant and report suspicious activity in and around homes under construction to police,” says Cst. Jesse O’Donaghey.

There were no signs of forced entry into the home so investigators believe the property was improperly secured or a key was used.
