Global News viewer Ken Custance captured video of some orcas swimming just off a beach on the Sunshine Coast recently.
Custance says the orcas appeared at about 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, in Davis Bay, just south of Sechelt.
There were a number of children and families in the water at the time, enjoying the show.
Custance says it was “pretty cool” to have seen the orcas, who can be seen in the video swimming and frolicking around.

If the family hadn’t decided to stop at the beach on their way home from a relative’s house, they would have missed the show entirely.
