Store employee attacked in Saskatoon armed robbery

An employee of a Saskatoon convenience store was attacked during an armed robbery. It happened just before noon Tuesday at the business located in the 2800-block of Estey Drive.

According to staff, a man entered the store and struck at least one employee with a metal rod. He then fled on foot with cash and lottery tickets.

There is no word on how serious the staff member was injured.

The man is described as being six-foot and was dressed all in black with a red bandanna and a grey toque.
