Former Toronto Maple Leafs captain Wendel Clark has posted his Muskoka cottage on Airbnb in an effort to raise money for charity – May 18, 2016

A new Airbnb listing has become available for summer renting in the heart of Ontario cottage country courtesy of Maple Leafs great Wendel Clark.

Described as a “cottage lover’s dream come true,” the property is located a two-hour drive north of Toronto in Muskoka.

“My family and I split our time between the city and the cottage, so listing our Muskoka cottage on Airbnb is a great way to monetize it and let others enjoy it while we’re not there,” said Clark.

At $5001 per night, the cost to stay at the luxury cottage won’t be cheap. However, the home accommodates 15 people and comes equipped with 10 bedrooms, a barbeque, pool table, fully furnished kitchen and Wi-Fi.

“My wife, Denise, helped me get the cottage ready before we listed on Airbnb. It’s in great shape, has amazing views and is a really special spot for our family, and we’re excited to share it,” Clark said.

The former Maple Leafs captain won’t be pocketing the cash for himself. All the proceeds will instead go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Those interested in the offer need to book a minimum two nights stay. There’s also some house rules to follow like no smoking, no parties or events and no mini sticks in the house.

Visitors are allowed to bring pets, park their Zamboni in the driveway and help themselves to anything in the fridge or cupboards, except for the Captain Crunch cereal.

“I’m really looking forward to hosting some fans and their friends at the lake, interested to see who might want to come up and enjoy it for a weekend,” said Clark.
