Neighbours who don’t want to be identified say more than two dozen people were drinking outside the property when an argument started.

Several hours later, someone returned to the home, spraying it with bullets.

Surrey RCMP say many residents were inside, and describe the incident as “isolated but targeted.”

There have been more than 30 shootings in Surrey this year. Police say the violence is connected to gangs and the drug trade – although this particular incident is not.
