MONTREAL – The Green Party of Canada has released its first television election commercials in Quebec.

The ads feature Deputy leader Claude William Genest, Green Party candidate in the federal Westmount–Ville-Marie riding.

Mr. Genest discusses issues that matter to voters concerned with the environment, such as the need for action on climate change and for a fresh “Green” voice in Canadian parliament.

In particular, he focuses on the continued leaching of PCBs into the St. Lawrence river.
