BARRIE, Ont. — Police say a 34-year-old man has a court date at the end of the month after passersby felt it odd he was taking at nap in his car at a closed drive-thru.
In response to the call, officers went to a Burger King in Barrie, Ont., early Thursday and found a man passed out in the driver’s seat of a car, which was still in drive, at the drive-thru speaker.

It took quite a while for them to rouse the man from his slumber and when officers asked what he was doing he told them he was waiting to order.
The man was taken to the police station, where it’s alleged he blew double the legal limit.
Once sober, the Barrie man was charged with impaired care and control of a vehicle and released.
