PENTICTON – Penticton District Search and Rescue (PENSAR) came to the aid of an injured mountain biker over the weekend.
Crews were called to the Test of Humanity biking trail near Summerland on Sunday afternoon to help to woman who had hurt herself.

Because the mountain biker’s “injuries appeared to be more serious than originally reported,” PENSAR said they used a helicopter to get her off the trail.
She was flown to the Penticton Airport and then taken by ambulance to the hospital.
