PIERREFONDS-ROXBORO – When four lucky dancers from the West Island found out they landed the dance gig of a lifetime, they couldn’t believe it.

Sienna Mazzone, Alessandro Nicolosi, Rosemarie Duschene and Victoria Kupracz were hand-picked to keep Canadian popstar Justin Bieber Company on stage when he heads the Bell Centre on May 16.
A few months ago, the dancers entered an online contest launched by Bieber’s choreographer and tour director.
Each contestant had to learn a short routine, film themselves dancing and submit it online.
“I had hoped, but I saw other people and thought, oh my god, I’m scared,” said Mazzone.
The four dancers, aged nine to 12, submitted their videos individually but all practice at H4L Dance Studio in Pierrefonds-Roxboro.
“I don’t know if words can really say how proud and overwhelmed [I am],” said H4L owner and instructor Christine Harrison.
“The tears were, and still even now, like woah.”
Harrison, who has been practicing and teaching dance for over a decade, said when she heard about the contest, she called her students into the studio and immediately got them dancing.
“I think what’s so great is that they were really chosen on their own,” she said.
“They really did it individually. That was so special – that they were so themselves in their little interview, so cute and non-rehearsed, that was so sweet.”

As for the kids, though they’re excited to be dancing with the Biebs, they admit they’re still a little nervous.
“It’s more comfortable, cause we know the people and it’ll be easier,” said Nicolosi.

“And it’s our studio H4L,” Mazzone added.
“Not other people, just H4L – we’re all together.”
