WINNIPEG — While much needed rain falls in most parts of southern Manitoba Tuesday, cottage owners maintaining watch on the fires in northwestern Ontario are keeping their eyes on the sky.
Rain is expected to keep moving east and by Wednesday, areas affected by fire should see some assistance from mother nature.
In fact it’s not just rain that is expected but some areas in the north, including Manitoba could see some snow.
Temperatures will also be much cooler for the remainder of the week that will assist with the dry conditions over the last few weeks.
The forecast for many areas in Manitoba and northwestern Ontario calls for at least a chance of rain into Thursday.
