Speed, alcohol may be factors in fatal Saskatoon motorcycle crash

SASKATOON – Police believe speed and alcohol are contributing factors in a fatal motorcycle crash in Saskatoon. At around 8:45 p.m. CT Friday, officers were called to the intersection of 25th Street East and Spadina Crescent.

According to investigators, it appears a 26-year-old man lost control of his motorcycle and struck a lamp post while travelling westbound on 25th Street.

The rider passed away as a result of his injuries. His name has not been released at this time.

Traffic was restricted as collision analysts completed their work at the crash scene.
