“Upon arrival, command reported flames from a barn on the property along with two other out buildings,” says Kelowna Fire Department Platoon Captain, Dennis Miller.

He says the barn is a complete loss and other buildings on the property were also damaged.

“Water had to be shuttled to the property by water tenders as fire hydrants were not close enough,” says Miller.

He says the cause is not known and that investigators will be on scene Monday.
