An investigation is underway after another suspicious fire at a home in Marlborough.
Firefighters were called to Marbank Way NE around 5 a.m. on Sunday.
When they arrived, they found heavy smoke and fire in the basement of the home.
The Calgary Fire Department confirmed there were three previous fires at the same home in the past month, dating back to March 29th when a fire was set in a garbage can.

Then on April 1st, another fire was discovered -causing around $20,000 in damage to the house.
On April 5th, another fire was set to the exterior of the home with damage estimated at $150,000.

“I have not seen a property catch fire four times in a month myself, and that’s in 34 years .. so we’re quite concerned,” District Chief Randy McRae said.

A Calgary Police arson unit investigation determined that all three acts were arson and residents of the home were being targeted.
Investigators have not determined a motive behind the attacks.
Police are searching for a person of interest in connection with the three previous fires at the home.
