WINNIPEG – RCMP have charged two people with first-degree murder in the death of Nicholas Brophy.
The 19-year Thompson man went missing September 2015. His remains were found just outside Thompson last week.
On Monday RCMP said they had arrested Justin Noah Baker, 19 and Zach Edwin Linklater, 22.
Both have been charged with first-degree-murder.
Brophy was last seen Sept. 9. His family recently offered a $50,000 reward for his safe return in a post on the ‘Help Find Nicholas Brophy’ Facebook page.
The post says Brophy was last seen walking home from a friend’s house at 11 p.m.
The accused will appear in Thompson court this week.
