Toronto Paramedics say a female cyclist has severe leg injuries after being struck by a truck in the city’s west end Friday afternoon.
The 45-year-old woman was hit near Dufferin and Croatia Streets just before 1:30 p.m., according to police.
The woman, who was conscious and breathing, was rushed to St. Michael’s Hospital in serious condition.
Toronto police closed Dufferin Street between Bloor Street West and Croatia Street as investigators from the traffic services unit reviewed the scene.
