At first it appeared a judge had pulled the emergency brake on an Okanagan raceway but now it seems racing will resume at the Vernon Motoplex. The future of the racetrack was in question after the court awarded a local developer $100,000 in damages as part of an injunction based on noise complaints. But as Kelly Hayes reports, the track’s owner is confident racing will return this summer.
